Dhiman Sankar Pal joined the Devreotes Lab as a postdoctoral fellow in April 2018. He completed his Integrated PhD in Molecular Microbiology at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata where he studied evasion strategies of intracellular parasites against lysosomal degradation. In the Devreotes lab, Dhiman is investigating the instantaneous role of canonical Ras-mediated growth-control pathways in mammalian cell migration by developing sophisticated optogenetic systems in human leukocyte cell lines.
